The Jordanville Wind Farm

PROJECT
The Jordanville Wind Farm is a planned 130 - 150 MW wind facility projected to be located south of the Mohawk Valley on private dairy farms in southern Herkimer County. The site is approximately 12 miles southeast of Herkimer, NY, 20 miles north of Cooperstown, and 90 miles west of Albany. The Jordanville Wind Farm will consist of 65-75 turbines and will have the capacity to provide the annual electric needs of between 52,000- 62,000 homes.

PROJECT SCHEDULE
The Jordanville Wind Farm is currently undergoing permitting, government approval, environmental and interconnection review. The project is expected to enter into commercial operation during late 2008.

PROJECT TEAM
Leading wind energy marketer and developer Community Energy, Inc. is the developer of the Jordanville Wind Farm. Skip Brennan is the Jordanville Wind Farm’s Project Manager, and David Shadle is Community Energy, Inc.’s Director of Wind Development. Eric Blank is the Vice President Generation and Development. Dale Cocca is the Jordanville wind project development associate.
